hi, there my name is ben martins and i work as an application specialist here at peca in the uk today, we've got a little short video on a crankshaft sensor fault or an intimate an issue with a little voxel crosser it starts off at being slightly interesting in the fact that there was no fault codes however, it moves on to actually having a fault code which is slightly less interesting but hopefully there's a few tips and techniques within the video that will help with using pigscope seven as well, so thanks very much and enjoy hey, there are brief, so i've got an interesting milk study here some interest is fairly typically straightforward, but it's always interesting when you don't get any fault code, so, this is a two thousand six foxel cool sir it's got the one point to eco tech engine in it now what we've got is intermittently it will cut out sometimes it won't start either there's no fault codes on the dashboard and there's nothing that flags are when it is faulting so a quick scan check actually, didn't reveal anything which is a bit slightly annoying yet sometimes it will crank with no start, so crank no start obviously we're going to be looking at fuel spark crank shaft sensors things like that powers and grounds etc and so maybe of what i did was i got hooked up wps into the fuel pressure rail and underneath underneath, we have a crank sensor which hopefully you can just about see through there and we have that back pin down number two pin this is a floating sensor so obviously we have to back pin both sides and then if we want to do any calculations we can use the match channels within the pigscope seven software so what's really interesting is when we're watching this sensor, we can actually see that the amplitude sometimes changes so between the two channels now, as i said this is an intermittent thought as well, so the like few of it playing up boston recording is very very unlikely, but i have managed to get some pre recordings of this with it actually faulting so there we go, so we can actually see that just there all of a sudden it's just changed this amplitude now the actual note that the engine is still saying, but we can clearly see that we've got something going on that isn't quite right that something's changing you can see that this is just coming from the sensor, so this is like i said it's just purely a inductive sensor it is floating i hear a lot of people say we should be actually back or at least checking at the ecu itself the ecu is buried on this, so don't actually try and get to it is a bit of a nightmare, but what we thought we do is based on ease and accessibility we've just gone straight to the sensor an already, we can see that something isn't quite right, so all it is going to leave this recording i'm just going to see if we can capture this on the screen let's hear that the engine is actually up to temperature as well, so another interesting point to make this actually, he was first noticed by the customer after they'd been on quite long drive pulled up got out of their vehicle went to the shops and then come back out and the vehicle wouldn't start and left it for a few more minutes and then it did actually start up so we do think that we are looking at a temperature related folk and as i said the likelier that is actually doing it now is probably very unlikely, but we're gonna keep watching and keep filming and hopefully we'll get to the bottom of it what i do is i'll actually put the camera down on the engine bay and i'll recall to my screen at the same time so when the fault does happen, so you can quickly capture it at the same time you should be able to see that the engine and the engine note will also change as it tries to recover from a complete loss of what would appear to be air critch off position sensor okay, so to save having to keep running this what we're going to do is i'm just going to go back to where the actual fault occurred so hopefully in the video we should be able to pick out where the what happened so obviously we can use the buff away form we can run back through the captures and we can see here that we had an intimate and dropout in the crankshaft position and if we zoom in on this slight patch here what we can actually see is that the crankshaft center has actually shorted itself together, so we can see the amplitude is massively reduced and we've actually lost this pattern in where we should have an opposite or a mirror image of the center but at that point in particular that is where we get this where it's actually joined together and it's actually output in the same signal so it must mean that they've joined themselves together so what we can do is we can do some simple mass just using the built in match channels and picks go to seven if i just do a plus b and a minus b get rid of your pressure i know that's not the issue, but can you see there they're actually by adding the two together we can quickly see when something's actually be changed and also when we've got the true amplitude by doing the a minus b to assume in around this a bit more get a bit closer you can see there that actually it's lost its signal completely actually when we're adding the tube together you actually get a much bigger amplitude or alper, and because they're both the same all right so what i'm gonna do now is i'm gonna get that crankshaft sensor out we're gonna have a little look at it and i believe it is temperature related so when it is shorten itself together what we do is i will try and put some heat onto it and see if we can actually get the resistance to change using the resistance leave and hopefully actually prove it one step further i mean i'm fairly confident that even from that that actually we can already see the problem but yeah let's do a bit more digging right cheers okay so as much could have it this car has now changed its bulk condition as i took the crank chop sensor out and couldn't get resistance reading off of it put it back in and now i actually have a fault code so for those of you that are using the mongoose lead that we get with the nbh kit you can actually use something on the j twenty five thirty four toolbox it comes with the program this will allow you to reach some actually the vehicle mission related data and trouble codes so as you can clearly see now that we have a click shaft position sensor a circuit foam so pretty confident that this is a prank shaft position sensor so i will get one ordered up hopefully we'll get it fitted and then i'll be able to update with a post capture and hopefully unknown good as well cheers guys okay, so we're back on the closer we now have a new crank shaft position sensor this is a blueprint one which i know people are probably going to argue with me and say i should have got a genuine one, but when costs come to it this is actually pretty good and also quite expensive for what it actually is so what i've actually done is i've got it set up with just using the resistance lead, which is part of the four four two five a kit and this bit is going to be funk so i want to try and show the results whilst i actually measure it so we'll see how we get on recording this? so what i'm going to do is take the original one i'm just gonna set the scope up here just to record just to get a bit more time on the screen so if we can see on there we've got twenty million seconds per division we're running at the moment with between minus, five hundred owns and two killer homes you can't put this in as well actually and it will do what it needs to do and i've also added a measurement on there as well, it's just the mean now if you're in streaming obviously that doesn't get updated to the end, but if you're in block motor anything under two hundred million seconds per division it will actually update every time so a bit like a multimedia view so what i've captured my screen at the same time so you can see what's actually going on so we'll start off with that this is their original i connect across there to the results that we've got is channels still overrange so indicating a open circuit if i connect doing the same thing to the new one i should hopefully have a resistance that's what we're looking for anyway and there we go so with the ketchup sensor connected i've now got a reading of about nine hundred homes there's just a bit of a baseline to give as an indication as to what to look for in the future as well, so i expect what's happened with the old sensor was that it was intermittently potentially shorting out together like what we saw earlier saw in there in previous captures and now it's actually gone to a fully open so hopefully things crossed this one is now there's a clear difference between the two so popping that money should see the fix fingers crossed right okay so crankshaft sensor has been fitted we have clear the code tail using the j twenty five thirty four tollbox so we're all clear and so we're ready to start it up and test it again now a quick quick little tip if you're going back to like a if you've got your faulting condition capture it's worth while going back and loading that back in one because we can actually create a reference waveform or say let's do a and b so this is when it was fault in, but also if you've got a four four two fivea scope and with bnc plus if you recorded it with bnc plus proms when you go to start it up again it will actually give you a pro mismatch so it's obviously asking which beings match now obviously i had wps on here originally if everything matches up the same, then obviously it will just go straight forward we're not actually i'm not gonna do wps at times i know it wasn't the problem so i'm gonna just leave that as probe not detected and just click run with found probes now if you wanted to i could add wps in and then once we got it all connected and it will just start the test automatically why is that important well it just saves a bit of time more than anything and if you think like every file you now have that's been saved with a four four two five, a and b and c plus probes suddenly becomes almost like a guided test so yeah just a little little tip so right so we should be able to start it up we've got our reference waveforms in the background you can see we're running so i'm just going to go and start the car so it warnings like should all be out now good stuff and the engine rpm the rpm gauge is working come back around now we can see that we've actually got what you've got in the background is actually, which is quite interesting we've got a real big difference in amplitude haven't we so that's something to bear in mind but yeah so now we've actually seen what it was before against what it what it actually is now all on one screen if you wanted to you could separate that out so you've got your reference at the top in a in its own viewport quickly do this if i add a scope view so there we go so if i go back to scope one and if i turn off all the active channel so i just have my reference ones and there we have i've got my reference by forming the top and my now known good or my actual vehicle captured underneath, so yeah all it's good though so i'm happy that this is all salted, so fingers crossed no more cutting out and intermittent stalling yeah i hope 尤其是 br 头衔路线,像极了面多了加水,水多了加面的产品因为需要沉静就要全封闭,需要互动就要加手柄。设备太大盖住半张脸,那就做表情采集据通话或者开会时没有身子,甚至还要给你模拟个身体出来。本来就想为这点醋包顿饺子,这可好,饺子还没吃,上面却越活越多。 自介旗下 vr 项 pickle 正进行有史以来最大的一次调整。 pickle 创始人周宏伟在十一月六日仅仅用了十分钟就宣布了这家公司的命运, 皮口 os 团队被整体并紧接跳动产品研发和工程加固。中台市场游戏视频部门进行大裁员。当看到皮口的裁员消息其实一点也不奇怪,并在年初,海外的 大厂早就开启了裁员之旅。毕竟今年 it 领域的流量密码毫无疑问非叉勾屁莫属。而 pico 的业务更偏向源宇宙的基础支持,目前资本和公众的关注度其实更偏向 ai 领。个人而言,在源宇宙这方面还是有点不安全的。 怎么说,今年这一年也是调研走访了大大小小三十余家自称做圆宇宙的软件公司,跟很多创业者也做过交流,对于不熟悉虚拟现实产品的小伙伴先做个科普。由于这是个造词速度比产品发布还快的行业, 什么 vr、 arxrmr 这些名词对于大部分来说,除了能读出来,也很难跟产品形态结合起来,那种差生文具多的既视感。其实也不用去理解这些名词,只需要简单知道目前产品形态主要就两位,那就是靠什么看清外界画面的,如果是通过视频拍给你看的就是 vr, 如果是直接透过镜片看到的,就是 a, 还记不住,可以用象形文字系法, a 是头盔,很重,需要卡在 v 的脸颊的两只点上。 ar 是眼镜,很轻,只需要戴在 a 这个鼻梁上。当然这两种类型的产品各有优缺,本期暂时不探讨两者的异统和技术细节, 要是有兴趣的小伙伴可以挖坑,日后做一期专门讲产品。对于一家公司,而且是大型企业,积累了一定的行业口碑和品牌营养力,在这种表面天时地利人和的情况下还要裁员,不用说肯定是入不敷出,收支不平衡, 或者短期盈利不如预期。也见过很多倒掉的公司,他们总觉得自己倒在了黎明之前,其实才刚刚入夜,黎明还早着呢。当一款产品需要不断的创造需求来进行售 购买,就注定很难短期内成功,更难推广到大众市场。对于 vrar 而言,总喜欢对标智能手机,比喻为这是下一代的硬件入口, 但是这类设备智能手机有个本质性区别,就算智能手机刚出来的时候也有各种问题,但是他能满足一个刚需,那就是打电话发短信, 只要这个刚需点能够满足,就会有用户买单支持,而且这个需求适应绝大部分人,产品很容易进入正循环, 走向大众也是迟早的事。对于 vrar 而言,个人觉得再回来很长一段时间,只会在特定的垂直应用场景使用,尤其是 vr 头衔路线,像极了面多了加水,水多了加面的产品, 因为需要沉静就要全封闭,需要互动就要加手柄,设备太大盖住半张脸,那就做表情采集据通话或者开会时没有身子,甚至还要给你模拟个身体出来。 本来就想为这点醋包顿饺子,这可好,饺子还没吃,上面却越活越多。本来把 vr 设备定位在一些特定场景应用,比如游戏机、各种行业培训等,但是问题就是,大厂们总想着他是下一个苹果下一代的设备入口, 目前看很明显是撑不起这个故事的。要说当下和 vr 高度是配的,可能就是需要沉浸感的瑟瑟小电影了。 在国外,这是一个成熟且利润丰厚的产业链,但在国内,这其实是一个灰色地带。但在后期, pick 的内容方向上,其实逐渐偏向了隐晦的擦边秀场直播,听说啊,只是听说的晚上两点之后的 pick, vr 直播是另一个时间, 听说会有很多小姐姐在上面扭啊扭,各种打赏,收入占营收比例很大。随着今年苹果的 v 生 pro 发布,看似又为行业打了一记强行针, 又带着一大波创业者开启各种致敬苹果的方案。对苹果自己可能也没有自信,销售目标和出货量一降再降,而且目前的价格也不太可能是大众用户可以使用的产品。当大家注意力都在 vr 头衔这类产品上时,鲜有大厂重点关注 ar 这个赛道。 其实对于这种可穿的设备而已,产品重量和佩戴的舒适度是能够让用户使用的最基础条件。 不管后面有再好的体验和内容,如果用户不能长时间使用,那一切都是徒劳。对 a r 眼镜这个方向,部分国内企业也是做了一个掏巧儿方案,那就是将 a r 眼镜定位在屏幕显示,相比 a r 越做越复杂, a r 是越做越简单, 而是在内容上适配大量二 d 内容,这样大量的手机上的内容大多可以很低成本按到眼镜上,甚至很多应用的样式就是拿 电视短应该这样,对于 ai 企业来说,可以迅速构建自己的那种生态。对于用户来说,需求也比较明确,就是买了个百寸级别的头戴式显示器。个人觉得国内企业瞄准一个核心痛点,逐渐培养用户习惯, 不如自己的内容生态,而且还有现金流可以让企业可持续发展,这样在目前这个大环境来说是最稳妥的方式。而且对于 ar 眼镜来说,放弃了那些炫酷的技术概念,只专精眼镜显示这一个需求, 一下子就将需求聚焦,研发方向也更清晰。 ar 的市场定位更应该类似 airpods 那种可穿戴的设备,他最理想的使用场景就应该类似于无线耳机,随时可以拿出来佩戴, 眼镜盒就是充电仓。而且眼镜还可以跟手机、电脑、游戏机等各种终端互联,将自己融入到其他硬件生态中。也许正是这种方向, 身段降低不切实际的预期反而更靠谱。在这里不得不提一下我们的行业明灯,老罗同志当然希望这次不是啊。对于老罗目前最新的创业项目,选择的就是 a 二赛道,他也曾在直播中聊过这个选择,对于他的第二段合体赛道的创业,这次低调了很多,沉稳了很多, 很明显这次要韬光养晦,打算一鸣惊人。这次这么低调也许是有原因的,主要是为了防止大厂的降位打击,采用的手段就是不低于两千人年代码量的方式,勾住自己的护城河,用来做防御,或者倒闭大厂来弹手鼓。其实在技术演进的过程中,是需要经历周期的, 横坐标是技术发展的时间,纵坐标是人们对技术的期望,人的内化往往是由于预期与现实不匹配造成的。比如这张技术成熟曲线与资本密集进场的试点,到七级项,技术有所突破, 吸引了大量资本入场,这时候由于资本的加持,技术的迭代速度加快,此时资本推高了所有人的预期。但是技术的发展是由其自身客观规律,当高的预期无法满足后,资本泡沫破灭,短期内无法带动高额收益,这是部分资本开始退场, 技术发展开始进入低谷期。其实这个时候也可以静下心来进行沉淀,当再次实现技术突破时,也就是这个行业迎来的爆发期的时刻。 这是会再次信大量资本进入行业,逐渐进入稳定上升期。对他进入成熟曲线当前最好的一层就是经验,炙手可热的人物智能, 不管是 vr 还是 ar, 都需要再继续沉淀。对于个人而言,我想象中的元宇宙并不是把人关在一个虚拟的世界内,像电影黑客帝国中那样,而是能够进行虚实交互,还是喜欢有血有肉的真实感。对于这部元宇宙浪潮来说,是大厂们之前没有新的增长业务 耐家宝的赛道,但是不管是 vr 还是 ar, 是无法满足这些巨头的胃口的,这次该回归属于他们的定位。 vr 的市场定位更应该是 switch 那种垂直领域的市场,使用场景相对固定。 ar 的市场定位更应该是 airpods 那种可以随时穿戴的设备, 去做其他设备的显示扩展。从长远来看, vr 也许只是暂时的演技戏骨,未来几年会让 ar 疯狂几年,当然 ar 也会逐渐预期被无限推高。最后再回到现实, vr 和 ar 就像两条腿,你先领先一步,然后他再领先,这么交替着向前走。祝福这俩难兄难弟早日上岸吧。对于圆宇宙的未来,我想说的是圆宇宙的梦,再等等吧, 将原宇宙打造成人类第二个生活空间,再等等吧。将打造成为下一代互联网的载体和平台的事,也再等等吧。
